Whether you're staying with friends or family, there are so many things to see and do in the local area, you might need a return visit to get round them all!
Seacliff Beach is just 5 minutes walk down the hill from Seapink Cottage, ideal for sea swims, paddleboarding, surfing and dog walks. Explore Britain's smallest working harbour which was cut from the rocks using steam power.
Seacliff Stables is walking distance from the cottage and offers treks for all abilities, you might even be lucky enough to ride along the beach. Advance booking essential.
Tantallon Castle is just a mile away and offers spectacular views and vistas.
The National Museum of Flight at East Fortune is home to Concorde and a great family day out.
Foxlake is just outside Dunbar and had loads going on...wakeboarding, segways, ropes course and really good wee cafe. Even if you don't fancy getting wet it's great to get some food and watch the boarders.
East Links Family Park is also on the outskirts of Dunbar and a must if you have children. There's animals, adventure play areas, go karts, crazy golf. Something for all ages. Online booking makes the entrance fee slightly cheaper.
NB Distillery is just up the road at Halfland Barns and does fantastic gin tours and tastings.
Ocean Vertical are based near Dunbar and offer brilliant coasteering and paddleboarding sessions for older children and adults.
Coast 2 Coast Surf School in Dunbar are fantastic for surf lessons. They also run coasteering, paddleboarding and skateboarding.
